Microneedling at Grove + Kane

Grove + Kane partnered with Skin Pen™  to deliver industry-leading microneedling treatments. Skin Pen™ was the first FDA-cleared microneedling device and is clincally-proven to create 1600 microchannels per second (over 3 million microchannels during a typical treatment!) at specific depths which trigger collagen creation in the skin. Microneedling is Grove + Kane’s preferred treatment for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles. 

Topical numbing is used prior to treatment to ensure comfort. Redness and some sensitivity is expected for 1-5 days following treatment with most symptoms subsiding after the first 24 hours. You will be supplied with specific after-care products to use after your treatment. 

We recommend treatments once per month in a series of 4-6 depending on your skin goals, with deeper wrinkles and more severe scarring requiring up to 8. 

Microneedling is also a great way to put more collagen in your “collagen bank” as a preventative treatment to prevent pre-mature aging. Once you’ve created a collagen protein, you get to keep it for 7-10 years! Microneedling treatments performed 1-2x per year would be recommended for this type of approach.
