Microneedling at Grove and Kane

Grove and Kane partnered with Skin Pen™  to deliver industry-leading microneedling treatments. Skin Pen™ was the first FDA-cleared microneedling device and is clincally-proven to create 1600 microchannels per second (over 3 million microchannels during a typical treatment!) at specific depths which trigger collagen creation in the skin. Microneedling is Grove and Kane’s preferred treatment for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles. 

Topical numbing is used prior to treatment to ensure comfort. Redness and some sensitivity is expected for 1-5 days following treatment with most symptoms subsiding after the first 24 hours. You will be supplied with specific after-care products to use after your treatment. 

We recommend treatments once per month in a series of 4-6 depending on your skin goals, with deeper wrinkles and more severe scarring requiring up to 8. 

Microneedling is also a great way to put more collagen in your “collagen bank” as a preventative treatment to prevent pre-mature aging. Once you’ve created a collagen protein, you get to keep it for 7-10 years! Microneedling treatments performed 1-2x per year would be recommended for this type of approach.
